Learning for Life, Impacting for Christ
Welcome to the 3rd & 4th grade classroom
Hello! I am Sabrina Seigal and I am so excited to be joining BVAS.
I have recently graduated from Walla Walla University with a bachelors in elementary education and a math for middle level teachers minor. I am very passionate about math, and I can't wait to share that enthusiasm in the classroom.
One of the biggest goals that I have for my classroom is for my students to know who Jesus is and how to be more like Him. This includes learning how to treat others, how to help those in need, and how to build and maintain a relationship with God.
I love to incorporate small group learning into the classroom so that I can spend time with each student regularly. While I am passionate about STEM and excited to incorporate it more in my classroom, I also enjoy the arts, and I'm excited to show my students how STEM and the humanities can work together. While academics are very important, I also believe that school is a place to teach students how to be a friend, how to care for oneself, and how to think critically.
I love to continue learning in my free time by picking up new hobbies and researching topics that I find interesting. Some of my hobbies include reading, playing the guitar, crocheting, and traveling.
I'm so excited to be a part of BVAS this year!
